I have posted a few times this year containing my comic strip Reelin' and now I've decided to expand this series into a full comic book. Since deciding to do this I took a different tactic in creating them, I've been scripting all the strips ahead of time, then penciling them in batches and then inking them in batches.
So, it's been a few weeks since I brought the production of a Reelin' strip all they way through to colors since my scope has expanded into a full book. I'm more than half way through with the book and I currently plan to be able to release it before this summer.
I probably won't be posting any more finished strips until the book is done, but here is a brief look at what I've been doing with some unfinished, inks only images from upcoming comic pages:
