Reelin Comic Character Construction Sheet

As I have been developing my newest comics strip, Reelin', I have noticed now that I am several strips in to the series that my main character's design keep fluctuating. As I've worked to get the flow of the strip down I have given poor Willard some alternating designs. I sat down this weekend to put together some character construction notes to help keep me consistent when drawing him.

I should go ahead and do the same for my other characters as well, but for now this will do since he's the one who has been changing around the most. In the strip. Hopefully this will keep things more regular. Practice will, of course, also help with this as I go forward writing and drawing more strips.

I added the faded yellowing paper effect manually since I just liked the aesthetics of old looking paper.

This is just a color palette cheat sheet allowing me to quickly pick out the colors I need. Having this in one small image is more helpful than having another full image project file open while I try to color a new one. Again, I need to get around to doing the same for my other characters.
