I drew this cartoon in honor of my son's first ever catch from this summer. I've taken him out with me fishing a couple times and he's usually having fun for about 20 minutes before he gets bored. Now that he's felt the thrill of actually hooking one of the beasts maybe he'll get into it. It was a moment of pride to see him light up with excitement over his first catch. He was very proud of himself for the rest of the day.
